Glowly

Privacy policy

Effective October 21, 2026

Glowly is an app for controlling Bluetooth LED lights, made by Vagrant Digital LLC (“we”). This policy covers the Glowly app for Android and iOS. The short version: Glowly has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and what you set up in it stays on your phone.

What stays on your phone

Your lights, their names and last colors, rooms, saved colors, schedules and settings are stored only on your device. We never receive them. Uninstalling Glowly deletes them.

Bluetooth

Glowly uses Bluetooth to find nearby LED controllers and send them commands such as color, brightness and power. On Android this permission is called “Nearby devices”. Glowly doesn’t use Bluetooth to work out your location, and the list of devices it sees is never sent anywhere.

Microphone

The microphone is used only while you have music sync turned on and Glowly is open. Sound is analyzed in memory on your phone to find the beat, then discarded. It is never recorded, saved or sent off your device.

Purchases

Glowly Pro is a one-time purchase made through Google Play or the Apple App Store. They handle your payment, and we never see your payment details. To check whether Pro is unlocked, Glowly uses RevenueCat, a purchase service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous ID created by the app, your purchase receipt and basic device information such as the platform and app version. It doesn’t receive your name or email. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

What we don’t do

Children

Glowly isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Your choices

You can turn off Bluetooth or microphone access at any time in your phone’s settings. Music sync needs the microphone, and controlling lights needs Bluetooth. To ask us to delete the purchase record RevenueCat holds for your copy of Glowly, email us.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the effective date above.
